Apex Trader Funding Issues Live Program Update

Apex Trader Funding has issued an update regarding its Live Program, acknowledging delays in the onboarding process while assuring traders that live account transitions are actively taking place.

In its statement to the community, the futures prop trading firm addressed concerns about the live account rollout and acknowledged that it should have communicated earlier and more frequently throughout the process.

“Let’s address the elephant in the room,” the firm stated, confirming that delays in the live onboarding process had occurred. Apex also acknowledged that it “didn’t communicate as early or as often as we should have,” taking responsibility for the lack of updates provided to traders.

According to the announcement, Apex informed traders last week that it had begun live onboarding and would start sending onboarding documents. The firm said it has already distributed those documents and continues to send them as more traders progress through the onboarding process.

The firm emphasized that the transition to live accounts is not a future initiative or a planned rollout waiting to begin. Instead, Apex stated that traders are already receiving onboarding documents, completing the required paperwork, and gaining access to their live trading accounts.

“Live onboarding is happening,” the company said, pushing back against speculation that the process had stalled. Apex added that traders are actively being transitioned into live accounts and that onboarding efforts are continuing.

The update comes after questions from members of the trading community regarding the pace of the rollout. Apex acknowledged the frustration felt by some traders and recognized that many expected more frequent communication throughout the transition period.

“We understand the frustration. We understand the questions,” the firm noted, adding that the concerns raised by traders were fair.

While Apex did not provide a specific timeline for completing onboarding for all eligible traders, the firm reiterated that it is currently granting traders access to live accounts and continues to onboard participants into the program.

Apex concluded the update by thanking traders who have remained patient during the process, reaffirming that live trader onboarding is taking place and that the transition into live accounts continues across its platform.
